UT Austin - ITD 150: Intro to Augmented Reality

arBy Jackson Barnes

Delivered some lectures on AR technology and helped guide students through market application projects. Throughout the class I covered a wide variety of topics including history, software, optics, tracking, developing, of AR systems.

In 2019 I was given the opportunity to TA and give some lectures on augmented reality at UT Austin for their class on Augmented Reality technology. Throughout the class I covered a wide variety of topics including history, software, optics, tracking, developing, designing, and much more. For the final project students were tasked with exploring a potential market application for an augmented reality experience and come up with either written or visual description of their idea. During classes I would provide feedback on their ideas and work while answering any questions that might have risen throughout the period. Below you can find one of my slide decks presented to the class.
